Meet Roberto

Roberto began his career as a mechanic working for Lexus and Ford. As a hard worker with high ambitions, exceptional skills and an unmatched ability to connect with people, he made the decision open his own mechanic shop that emulates his foundational beliefs. Friesen Automotive was hand-built by Roberto himself and once everything was in place, he became a one-man marketing team by handing out business cards.

To anyone who knows Roberto Friesen, it is no surprise that he has successfully established a top-class mechanic shop by word-of-mouth and reputation alone. In an interview with Roberto, he references a previous foreman that he once worked with who said, “you can either work for someone else’s dreams, or you can work for your own.” Dreams to reality, Friesen automotive has without a doubt become a hidden gem nestled in the heart of St. Thomas.
